According to the article on the East Africa, Bogus online car dealers have recently been swindling customers by pretending that they are winding up their firms due to the economic crisis.

Main Malicious Exploitation
Tanzanian investigators are reported the following problems.
1. A vehicle which a customer received was different from the vehicle you purchased.
2. Can not be in contact with the dealer after arranging your payment.
3. The dealer doesn't ship out a vehicle for a long period of time.

Avoid the following Dealers
The following points are effective, investigator said.
1. A dealer doesn't own a used car online shop. It may not be existing.
2. Phone number starts from "+81-90" or "+81-80". These number mean Mobile Phone.
Dealers can easily disappear.
3. Dealers' address can not be found on a website. They may be phantom.

As reported from Newspaper, some used car dealers are bogus. Please beware of them
